MSB Educational Institute Bhopal prides itself in striving to earn the blessings of our grandparents. On Saturday, 24th December, we invited our elderly for “Avo Vovo Hamne Sikhawo” programme (Avo means Grandmother and Vovo means Grandfather in Portuguese).
Learning from our grandparents is a way to respect them. No matter how much we may progress in our technology and knowledge, age old wisdom which comes with experience and hard work of our grandparents always wins the day.
Students and teachers organized a well planned programme, with skits, shaayeris and banter which emphasized our need and duty to be involved with our grandparents at all times. The grandparents were very enthusiastic in different areas of cooking, sewing, embroidery and games to showcase their abilities and teach their young. All of them also had a blast at the Selfie Corner & “Back to School” photo sections. They were given massages by our young masseurs as well.
Many of them mentioned that they actually felt young after playing these games after a long time. The smiles, comments, blessings and "once more" requests from them were proof enough that they had thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
